The Threat: U.S. National Debt

The U.S. debt has soared over 50% since the onset of COVID – pushing America ever closer to insolvency.

The Solution: An Amendment

To fix the debt, the states must force Congress to propose a Balanced Budget Amendment (BBA) for ratification.

The Path: Article V of the Constitution

The states can force constitutional action by Congress with 33 of 34 state resolutions needed under Article V.

We already have 28 of the 33 state resolutions necessary to force Congress to propose a Balanced Budget Amendment (BBA) for ratification.  Therefore, we only need 5 more to reach 33 — a number we can attain as soon as 2028!
